Last night September 21, 2024 the Korean drama ' The Judge from Hell ' started its premiere. Specifically, this drama airs in two episodes at once. However, for the following week it will return to its normal schedule, namely on Friday and Saturday.
This is due to the broadcast of the 2024 Paris Olympics which took place from July to August which occupied the drama broadcast slot. 'The Judge from Hell' tells the story of a judge from hell who enters the body of Kang Bit Na ( Park Shin Hye ) who is a judge in the world.
She was punished for acting arbitrarily in the afterlife by sending the wrong people to hell. She was sentenced to the world and had to send bad people to hell. In completing his task he meets Han Da On ( Kim Jae Young ) who is a detective who cares deeply about the people around him, including the victims of every crime he handles.
As a judge and a detective, the two often meet in the courtroom and become connected. Since before its airing, the drama 'The Judge from Hell' has managed to attract attention because it presents an unusual story. Moreover, Park Shin Hye's role as a judge who shows two opposing sides of good and bad makes viewers curious.
Thanks to him, the first episode of the Korean drama 'The Judge from Hell' managed to score quite high ratings . According to AGB Nielson South Korea, the drama earned a rating of 9.3 percent in the first episode and 6.8 for the second episode.
The rating is considered quite promising because it almost reached double digits in its premiere. It is estimated that if this drama is able to provide an interesting story in each episode, it will continue to increase until its final episode.
Kang Bit Na's character is a judge from hell who will punish the bad people in the world in her own way to be sent to hell. However, when she became a judge in the world, she was often considered unfair because she only gave light sentences to the perpetrators of crimes.
