Netflix has released a special teaser trailer and poster for Squid Game Season 2 ahead of its premiere on December 26, 2024. The teaser trailer begins with the sound of an alarm as Gi Hun (played by Lee Jung Jae) wakes up with fury in his eyes.
Armed and on high alert, he approaches a door and, as it opens, he comes face-to-face with the Front Man. The scene then shifts to the pink guards, each meticulously carrying out their duties in the world of Squid Game.
Next, a giant piggy bank fills with stacks of money, signaling the start of the game, while the phrase “Are you ready?” heightens anticipation for the new game. The teaser ends with Gi Hun wearing the green tracksuit with the number 456, heightening anticipation for the new story to unfold in Season 2 of Squid Game.
