The film 'Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle' is showing again on Trans TV Cinema. This comedy-adventure genre film will air on Sunday September 22, 2024, at 21.00 WIB. First released in 2017, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is the third film in the Jumanji franchise that was very popular in the 1990s with Robin Williams as the main star.
The second film, 'Zathura: A Space Adventure' was released in 2005. This time, director Jake Kasdan is given the mandate to work on Jumanji. His previous works include the films 'Sex Tape' (2014), 'Orange County' (2002).

The plot then fast-forwards to 2017, Bethany the social media enthusiast, Spencer the bookworm, Martha the nerdy but rude one and football star, Fridge. The four of them accidentally get into trouble on the same day and are punished to clean a room that will be used as a computer lab.
There, Fridge finds a strange game: Jumanji. Feeling upset and bored because of being punished, the four of them decide to play the game. When the four of them choose the characters in the game and the game begins, strange things happen. Starting with Spencer, his body slowly turns into a hologram and is sucked into the game.
Spencer is thrown into the Jumanji game with the body and powers of Dr. Smolder Bravestone, the character he has chosen. Her three friends followed with Bethany as Professor Shelly Oberon, a geography expert, Fridge as Moose Finbar, a zoologist and Martha as biologist, Ruby Roundhouse.
Trying to overcome the panic, the four friends find that they must save Jumanji to get out of the game. Jumanji's own well-being is threatened because the stone that has been protecting the place is stolen and misused. However, it is not easy to complete the game because every time they complete an obstacle, the next obstacle will be more difficult.
