Go Yoon Jung's brief appearance at the ending of the drama " Light Shop " on December 18, 2024 successfully surprised the audience. Who would have thought, she revived the character Jang Hee Soo from " Moving ," another work directed by Kim Hee Won.
Recently, Yoon Jung expressed her feelings about joining the project, even though it was only a cameo. She reflected on her bond with director Hee Won after working with him as a teacher-student duo in “Moving” and now as an actor-director in “Light Shop.”
"It was a special experience because it was a project directed by Kim Hee Won, and I was happy to meet familiar faces," Yoon Jung said with a beaming face. Yoon Jung admitted that she was satisfied because her acting was enthusiastically welcomed by the audience.
The final episode of "Light Shop" shows several characters waking up from comas or dying after being trapped in the afterlife. One of the characters who comes back to life is detective Sung Sik (Bae Sung Woo). The detective who has the ability to see ghosts now always wears sunglasses, replacing Kim Sang Hoon's (Kim Dae Myung) job.
One day, Sung Sik sees his colleague interrogating a student at the police station. When Sung Sik approaches, his colleague tells him that he is interrogating the student who broke into Jeongwon High School while the building was collapsing. Sung Sik turns and sees Hee Soo sitting down.
In addition to Yoon Jung, actor Park Jung Min also made a cameo appearance in "Light Shop". Like Yoon Jung, Jung Min expressed his admiration for the series, saying, "I've been a big fan of writer Kang Full since I was young. I'm really looking forward to the series, because so many great actors are part of it."
The audience was immediately excited because the scriptwriter Kang Full really made "Moving" and "Light Shop" as one drama universe. The presence of Yoon Jung and Jung Min makes this drama even more different from the others.
“ This casting is absolutely brilliant! ” commented a netizen. “ Park Jung Min nailed the role of the unemployed Gangdong-gu resident, Kim Young Tak—so spot on! ” said another. “ Go Yoon Jung’s acting is still as good as ever ,” said another. “ Kang Full’s world keeps getting better, I love it ,” concluded the netizen.
