The story follows Jae Yoon (Park Jung Min), a soldier, and his girlfriend, Young Joo, who are separated due to circumstances, now having to fight against hordes of zombies in a high-rise building in Seoul. As they face the chaos of the zombies, Jae Yoon transforms from a weak and insecure man into a confident leader, while Youngjoo becomes stronger in her fight for survival.
The newly released photos of the production team of "Newtopia" show the college days when the engineering goddess Young Joo always attracted attention wherever she was. In contrast, her frightened and crying appearance fully depicts the fear of a sudden zombie outbreak.
With both hands tightly gripping the golf club, Young Joo's brave appearance is revealed as she runs towards her boyfriend through the zombies that have covered downtown Seoul. This plot raises curiosity about whether she will be able to reunite with Jae Yoon.
Accompanying the photo of the scene, Jisoo revealed the reason for agreeing to star in "Newtopia". "I fell in love with Young Joo's charm from the start, and I also wanted to bring the character to life well. I hope everyone can have fun watching Young Joo grow in various ways," she said.
In addition, director Yoon Sung Hyun also revealed Jisoo's acting skills that exceeded his expectations.
