NCT WISH's Riku is reportedly making a comeback to continue his activities after a four-month hiatus. On Monday February 3, 2025, SM Entertainment as the agency announced Riku will return after a hiatus due to his declining health. SM Entertainment said the idol will return to activities next month.
"Hello, this is NEO Production. We would like to provide an update regarding NCT WISH member Riku's return to activities," the agency said in a statement. "Riku, who had stopped his activities due to health reasons, is currently focusing on rest and recovery.
We are happy to inform you that his condition has improved significantly," he continued, as reported by Soompi. This comeback plan turned out to be Riku's wish. He will return to his activities but will still be monitored by medical personnel.
Riku will later join the rest of NCT WISH at the 2025 NCT WISH Asia Tour Log In. The 21-year-old is also scheduled to contribute to the production of a new album that is planned to be released in the first half of this year.
"Official activities scheduled for February 2025 will be carried out by all five members - Sion, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. Riku will greet fans starting in March, participating in the '2025 NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in'," the agency said.
