Lee Je Hoon recently finished starring in the drama "The Art of Negotiation". The South Korean actor underwent an interview with local media, Star News on June 14, 2025 immediately after the JTBC weekend drama finished airing.

In the interview, Lee Je Hoon revealed his thoughts on the open ending of “The Art of Negotiation” that seemed to hint at a second season. The actor said, “I left open the possibility that the story could continue later.” "I'm one of those who hopes that a sequel will be written later.

I think this work can continue into the second, third, fourth, fifth, and so on, like American dramas," Lee Je Hoon continued. Lee Je Hoon hopes that the production team of "The Art of Negotiation" will listen to the viewers' wishes for the next season.

"I hope that the production company and broadcasting company will listen to what the viewers say," he said. Immediately after wrapping up "The Art of Negotiation", Lee Je Hoon will be busy starring in two other seasonal projects at once.

The first is filming "Taxi Driver 3" and the second is "Signal 2", which fans have been waiting for. Regarding this, Lee Je Hoon apparently felt guilty towards the production team for having to arrange the filming process of the two dramas which clashed.

"I apologize to the production company for this situation," said the actor. "Even when working on one work, there are positions in the schedule adjustment, but because I'm working on two works at the same time, I adjust the positions of both parties," said the star of the drama "Chief Detective 1958".

Lee Je Hoon has also accepted that he will not have any rest time this year.  "At least this year, I don't have my own life. I will let it go and live it as it should be," he said. "If someone were to ask me, 'When will I rest?' or 'When will I find personal happiness?', I would have given up for this year.

I want to process those parts well through my work," he said. Finally, Lee Je Hoon also expressed his feelings about being able to carry out seasonal dramas. "I'm very grateful. I'm thankful and happy to be able to act in seasonal dramas, and I hope to finish them safely and healthily," he concluded.
