Netflix has finally spoken out regarding the disappearance of BLACKPINK Jisoo's older brother's name from the credits of the drama 'Boyfriend on Demand'. This clarification was released amid public speculation linking the removal to a legal scandal that ensnared the actress's family members.

On April 21, 2026, a Netflix representative officially stated that the change was purely made to correct a technical error, not a sudden move due to the ongoing scandal. Netflix claims that the typo in Jisoo's management department was identified in early March, shortly after the drama's release.

Netflix claims the production team entered a mistake regarding Jisoo's agency's representation details. "We immediately took corrective action after discovering the misspelling of the management's name," a Netflix spokesperson told the media.

This clarification from Netflix aligns with the firm statement released the day before by Jisoo's agency, BLISSOO. The agency emphasized that Jisoo has lived independently since her teenage years and has no involvement in her older sister's personal or legal activities.

The agency also emphasized a crucial point regarding their company structure, "The individual (Jisoo's older brother) currently has no legal or managerial relationship with BLISSOO."
