SNSD's Sooyoung is confirmed to star in the film 'Ballerina', which is a spin-off of the famous action film, John Wick. This is Sooyoung's acting debut in the Hollywood film scene. In this film, Sooyoung will play the role of Katla Park.
Previously, rumors of SNSD's Sooyoung being involved in Ballerina had been circulating. The rumor first spread after Sooyoung was caught taking pictures with other Ballerina players after the filming process was completed.
Not only that, SNSD's Sooyoung is also known to follow the Ballerina cast and crew accounts on Instagram. Ballerina or also known as From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is an upcoming American neo-noir action thriller film directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten.
The film is the fifth film in the John Wick franchise, a spin-off set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. The film will star Ana De Armas as Eve Macarro and also star Keanu Reeves as John Wick. The film is scheduled to be released globally in June 2025.
