Super Junior's Leeteuk had an unpleasant experience with sasaeng. The term sasaeng comes from Korean which refers to fans who are obsessive about their idols. Through his social media posts, Leeteuk complained that there were sasaengs who dared to break into his house.
The Super Junior group leader had even experienced similar incidents before. " Breaking into someone else's house. It's very worrying that there are still crazy sasaengs like that. This is the second time ," Leeteuk wrote on Instagram Story, Thursday April 10, 2025.
In the future, Leeteuk will take a firm stance if this incident happens again. He will not hesitate to reveal the perpetrator's identity and report it to the police. " I warn you, if you do it again, I will reveal your personal identity to the public and report you to the police ," he said firmly.
This incident then became the focus of netizens on social media. " So scary ," wrote @bae****. " Have you caught the burglar? That was horrible ," wrote @_ad***. Leeteuk experienced a similar incident in October 2012. He admitted that he was followed by sasaengs before his military service.
" Sasaengs are still following me, even the day before I enlist. What should I do? Please, leave me alone ," Leeteuk wrote via his X account at that time. Then in 2020, Leeteuk had another encounter with sasaengs selling his personal phone number. At that time, Leeteuk admitted to receiving calls from unknown numbers.
