Cha Eun Woo, known as a member of boy group ASTRO and an actor, has gone through the selection process to join the military band. The interview process conducted on Friday May 9, 2025 was the first step in fulfilling his military obligations, which are mandatory for all South Korean men.
His agency, Fantagio, revealed that the selection results will be announced on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Although he has undergone an interview, there has been no confirmation yet whether Cha Eun Woo has been accepted to join the military band .
The selection process itself will take place from March to April 2025, with interviews taking place on Friday, May 9, 2025. If accepted, Cha Eun Woo is expected to begin basic training in July 2025.
Before officially undergoing military service, Cha Eun Woo is still busy completing a series of big projects. Currently, he is filming the latest Netflix drama titled The WONDERfools, where he acts with Park Eun Bin.
