NCT Wish held its first concert in Jakarta on Saturday May 31, 2025. The Japanese boy group and the sixth and final sub-unit of the South Korean boy group NCT successfully rocked Tennis Indoor Senayan.
Although it was only two years since their debut, the six members managed to make NCTzen (NCT fans) sing their favorite songs in unison, such as poppop, Steady, and Hands Up.
NCT Wish greeted their fans in Indonesia in their first Asia tour, LOG in Jakarta. Unlike their two senior subunits, the Japan-based boy group carries a teenage concept, in accordance with the age of the members.
Therefore, they performed songs in a more interactive way, such as inviting NCTzen to play together. NCT Wish opened the show with their debut song, 'Wish' to 'Miracle' which was a cover of their senior group, Super Junior.
After that, the six personnel consisting of Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jahee, Ryo, and Sakuya introduced themselves one by one. They again made fans hysterical when they said a few words in Indonesian to compliments to 'Sijeuni' (NCT fans' nickname).
"I'm confused about what to say because Sijeuni Jakarta is good at singing," said Ryo, one of the youngest members who comes from Japan. In accordance with the concept of NCT Wish, Dyandra Global Edutainment as the promoter adjusted the stage layout and various supporting properties.
For example, when 'bridging' to the song 'Sail Away', the lighting game made clouds and butterflies fly which added to the viewing experience to be more soulful. As for when the 'curtain' was lowered, it made fans even more anticipating their performance.
Previously, several members admitted that they were looking forward to performing in Indonesia considering that fans here are known to sing loudly. Sure enough, the Sijeunis succeeded in surprising their idols with loud fan chants and sing-a-longs.
NCT Wish also seemed enthusiastic about bringing the songs in the next sequence. After opening the show with a 'cute' concept, NCT Wish also showed their 'cool' side in the next sequence.
Songs such as Hands Up, Choo Choo to NASA managed to display the 'neo' impression that is identical to the NCT group. There is also a cover of the song 'Make A Wish' from the NCT U unit which shows a 'mature' image.
After performing approximately 17 songs, NCT Wish closed their debut concert in Indonesia by giving their impressions and messages. NCT Wish unanimously expressed their admiration for Sijeuni's energy in Jakarta. "Next, let's keep having fun like this.
I will keep the memories of Log in Jakarta for a long time," said Sion, the Korean member who became the leader. The NCT WISH Log in Jakarta concert did not end there. NCTzen still got 'fan service' when they appeared in Batik shirts and took pictures with fans wearing the traditional clothes.
There was also their appearance when they went down backstage and wrote messages and impressions to fans. "Awesome, "Sijeuni is adorable," "My darlings," "Dream about me," wrote NCT Wish.
