BTS's V hinted at a solo comeback in August. The singer announced this during a live broadcast on the fan communication app Weverse. In a live broadcast where V only performed his voice, the BTS member said he was preparing something that fans could look forward to next August 2025.
"There are a few things ARMY (BTS fans) can see in August, it's better than nothing," V said on the broadcast, quoted Tuesday July 29, 2025.
This announcement then made many fans suspect that what BTS's V meant was the singer's solo comeback, while other fans speculated that what he meant was BTS's activities as a group.
But whatever the fans' suspicions, they are still eagerly awaiting new music or other content from BTS's V. Fans then filled social media with the phrase ' V is Coming ' to celebrate the anticipation of BTS's V's latest work.
All BTS members are known to have completed their military service and are now reunited as a group. BTS's V completed his 18-month military service on June 10, 2025. In addition to BTS, V has also pursued a career as a solo artist.
He has released several solo songs and debuted with his solo album, " Layover," on September 8, 2023. Meanwhile, BTS is said to be returning with new music in 2026, making many fans impatient to see the new musical color from this global group.
