The Korean drama 'Good Boy' ended with episode 16 on Sunday night July 20, 2025. Although it was difficult, you had to say goodbye to Dong Ju, Han Na, and Jong Hyeon.

The drama, starring Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, and Lee Sang Yi, finished with the highest ratings. Not only did it outperform other cable dramas, but it also beat their season-long ratings record.

According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of Good Boy averaged 8.1% in ratings across South Korea. This figure also represents a significant increase from the ratings for episode 15, which aired the day before.

According to Nielsen Korea's official website, episode 15 of Good Boy achieved a rating of 6.3%. In the Saturday-Sunday slot on cable channels, JTBC's Good Boy outperformed rivals like tvN's Law and the City.

The Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ka Young drama aired episodes 5 and 6 with ratings of 5.7% and 6.1%, respectively. Good Boy is an action-comedy drama starring Park Bo Gum as Yoon Dong Joo and Kim So Hyun as Ji Han Na.

Yoon Dong-Joo was once an Olympic gold medalist boxer, but after retiring, he struggled with life and health issues. Thanks to his athletic achievements, he is accepted into a special police team made up entirely of former national athletes.

They undergo rigorous training and then begin tackling serious cases and systemic corruption using their athletic skills and discipline. Ji Han Na is known as the Shooting Goddess and is a former gold medalist in shooting.

After a major incident that shocked the sports world, she decided to retire and join the police force. Her calm yet assertive nature makes her a professional partner and potential love interest for Dong Joo.

Beneath the humor and action, Good Boy delves into the personal side of the athletes: past trauma, institutional pressure, and the growing bond between the members of the police team.
