Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min are confirmed to join the latest romance drama titled, 'Would You Marry Me'. Both are present at the first script reading which signifies drama production to begin.
Would You Marry Me tells of a man and woman who have had a fake marriage for 90 days to win a house prize for a newlywed. Choi Woo Shik plays Kim Woo Joo, the heir to the fourth generation of Myyeonsoondang, South Korea's first bakery.
Jung So Min plays Yoo Mary, the designer who applies for a marriage contract to Kim Woo Joo for the sake of his dream home. "I hope we can shoot and finish happily, and I will work hard," said Choi Woo Shik. "I hope no one gets sick and everything is finished safely," said Jung So Min.
Several supporting players were also announced, namely Bae Na Ra as Baek Sang Hyun, executive who monitors Woo Joo and Mary, Shin Seul Ki as Yoon Jin Kyung, a medical worker who becomes Woo Joo's lover and Seo Bum June who plays Kim Woo Joo, Mary's ex-fianc with the same name.
Then there are Jung Ae Ri, Kim Young Min, Baek Ji Won, Yoon Bok In, and so on. "Since reading the script, Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min have heated up the situation by showing 200 percent of their romance and comedy," said the production team.
"We look forward to the audience watching Woo Joo and Mary's sweet and funny chemistry as a fake couple for 90 days to win home gifts," he said. The drama Would You Marry Me will air starting next October 2025.
