SBS recently released a first look at Choi Woo Shik in his upcoming drama, Would You Marry Me. Choi Woo Shik plays Kim Woo Joo, the fourth-generation only son of Myungsoondang, South Korea's first legendary bakery, established 80 years ago.
Despite being born into luxury, Kim Woo Joo also has his own career. He is known as the leader of a rising marketing team known for his uncompromising performance. He also becomes involved in a business relationship with Yoo Mary (Jung So Min), the CEO of a partner company.
The two become entangled in a twisty story as they pretend to be a married couple for 90 days to win a luxury home for the newlyweds. In the released stills, Kim Woo Joo is seen returning to Korea for full-fledged heir training while simultaneously demonstrating her acumen as a leader in Myungsoondang's marketing team.
One image shows her at the airport with a wistful expression, hinting at the inner struggles beneath her calm and sharp exterior. In another, Kim Woo Joo is seen leading a marketing team meeting.
With her sleeves rolled up and focused, she displays the competence and leadership that have earned her recognition even in the United States. Her character exudes the aura of a successful heir and a capable leader.
The production team stated that through the drama Would You Marry Me , Choi Woo Shik will show a new side. They hope that viewers will anticipate the latest project from the popular dark drama star of Our Beloved Summer.
