Katy Perry implicitly alluded to her romantic relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during a concert tour in London, England, Monday October 13, 2025. The singer was performing on her Lifetimes World Tour at The O2 Arena when a fan suddenly proposed to her mid-show.
Unfortunately, Katy turned down the proposal for quite obvious reasons. Laughing, she replied, "I wish you had proposed to me 48 hours ago." Katy then continued in a joking tone. "London, England, are you guys always like this on Monday nights after a long day of work and school? No wonder I always fell for English men... but I guess not anymore," she joked.
This statement was considered by many fans as a subtle hint that she is now in a serious relationship with a man, who is strongly suspected to be the young Canadian politician, Justin Trudeau. Last weekend, Katy and Justin were photographed vacationing on the Caravelle yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
In exclusive photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the two were seen embracing and kissing passionately on the deck of the yacht – marking their first public appearance as a couple. An eyewitness on a nearby tour boat said, "At first I didn't know who the man was, but when I saw the tattoo on his arm, I immediately knew it was Justin Trudeau."
News of Katy and Justin's closeness first emerged last July 2025, after the two were seen enjoying an intimate dinner at Montreal's Le Violon restaurant - just weeks after Katy announced her split from her fiancé, 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Orlando Bloom. Meanwhile, Justin separated from his wife, Sophie, in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
From that marriage, they have three children: Xavier (18), Ella-Grace (16), and Hadrien (11). Katy herself is also a mother to Daisy Dove Bloom, the daughter of her relationship with Orlando, who is now five years old.
