Kim Woo Bin received praise for his performance in the drama Genie, Make a Wish. In the drama, Kim Woo Bin plays Jin, a Middle Eastern male. The South Korean actor even delivered several lines in Arabic. 

Woo Bin's Arabic pronunciation sounded fluent and flowing. It turns out that Kim Woo Bin spent a lot of time and effort on his Arabic dialogue. In a recent interview, Kim Woo Bin admitted to practicing his Arabic dialogue over 1,000 times per line. 

"I listened to audio recordings of native speakers saying my lines at least 1,000 times per line," Kim Woo Bin revealed, as reported by the Korea JoongAng Daily on October 14, 2025. 

"I have 52 lines of dialogue in Arabic, so I think it's 52,000 plays in total," he added. The production staff of Genie Make a Wish also witnessed Kim Woo Bin's hard work practicing Arabic. 

They revealed that Kim Woo Bin took the time to practice Arabic dialogue during breaks and between shoots. The drama Genie, Make a Wish tells the story of a stiff and cold woman named Ki Ka Young (Bae Suzy) who suddenly finds a magic lamp.

He then releases Jin (Kim Woo Bin), who has been trapped in the lamp for nearly a thousand years. Jin must then fulfill Ka Yeong's three wishes. However, Ga Young's requests lead her to an unexpected and conflict-filled life.
