THE BOYZ's Kevin will be going on hiatus due to health reasons. He will halt all group activities to recover. In an official statement from ONE HUNDRED, THE BOYZ's agency, Kevin's hiatus was due to physical and psychological issues. Kevin is said to have received medical treatment for these health issues.
"Kevin recently experienced physical and psychological problems and received medical treatment. After an examination, the doctor advised him to rest and maintain sufficient stability, " said ONE HUNDRED in an official statement seen on Tuesday October 28, 2025.
" After extensive discussions with the artist, we have decided that he will focus on treatment for a speedy recovery. Therefore, starting with the fan signing event scheduled for today (October 28th), Kevin will not be participating. We will provide additional notification when he is able to resume activities," agency continued.
The agency also promised fans to monitor the artist's health condition and asked for fans' full support so that Kevin could recover quickly. "We will continue to monitor the artist's health and provide full support for his speedy recovery.
We ask for your understanding of this decision, which prioritizes the artist's health above all else, " agency concluded. Previously, Kevin from THE BOYZ went viral for his courage in raising a Free Palestine banner during a concert in Atlanta, United States, as a form of support for the Palestinian people.
The action received praise from many parties, especially amidst sensitive situations that K-Pop idols often avoid. This isn't Kevin's first show of support for Palestine. The 27-year-old idol has also used the Palestinian heart emoji and the watermelon symbol on various occasions.
