BTS leader Kim Namjoon, also known as RM, has finally spoken out about his live broadcast, which has been causing heated debate among the fandom for the past few days.
In a new post on WeVerse on Monday (December 8, 2025), RM apologized to ARMY and admitted regret for turning on the live broadcast. The post featured a photo of himself forming a heart before revealing his true feelings about what had happened.
RM explained that he was under a lot of pressure and frustration when revealing various sensitive matters, including the fact that BTS had considered disbanding. While some fans appreciated his honesty, others felt the statement was inconsiderate.
RM admitted his mistake, as reported by Koreaboo on Tuesday (December 9, 2025). "I think I might have made a lot of ARMYs feel tired with the live broadcast two days ago.
I'm really sorry... Now I regret turning it on, but at the time I was just feeling frustrated," said RM, who then asked fans to keep watching him well. RM not only apologized, but also provided an update on his daily activities.
He said he was preparing for his driving test, had just watched the film "The Color of Pomegranates," and announced that his house renovations were finally completed after six months.
"I'm going to focus on making music, practicing choreography, thinking about new content, and getting enough sleep, and that's all I'm going to do is live," he said. In the end, RM delivered a message to his fans. "The weather is very cold, so please dress warmly and don't catch a cold," said RM.
