South Korean actress Han So Hee is once again a hot topic of conversation as she promotes her latest film, 'Project Y'. However, beyond her impressive acting, her candid confession about her decision to remove all of her tattoos has garnered significant public attention.

Known for her bold and artistic image, Han So Hee explained that the decision to remove the tattoo was not due to personal preference, but purely professional considerations as an actress.

In a recent interview, Han So Hee revealed that her tattoos have begun to limit her mobility in the entertainment industry. One of the main reasons is the limitations on costume choices and character flexibility.

"I realized that with the tattoo, I couldn't wear dresses (for formal events or certain roles) freely," said Han So Hee. According to him, each character has a different atmosphere and background. She felt the permanent tattoos would hinder the diversity of images he was required to portray on camera.

"The tattoos actually became a disadvantage for me because they limited the variety of characters I could play," she added. The actress didn't hide the fact that the tattoo removal process wasn't easy. "I had it removed through a very painful process," she said frankly.

Although tattoos are a form of self-expression she enjoys, Han So Hee demonstrates maturity in prioritizing. She believes now is the time to focus fully on acting. "Since tattoos can be reapplied at any time, I think removing them for work is the right move for now," she explained.

This professional attitude has also garnered praise from netizens. Many admire her dedication to completely transforming for her roles, including her role as Miseon in the film "Project Y," which will be released on January 21, 2026.

'Project Y' itself is a crime film that follows two friends who attempt to steal 8 billion won worth of gold in downtown Seoul. In this film, Han So Hee is ready to show a new, cleaner side of herself and focus on character development.
