Nam Joo Hyuk has been offered a role in a new drama adaptation of a Taiwanese drama. The drama will be directed by Yoo Soo Min, who is known for his success with the series Weak Hero.
On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, Nam Joo Hyuk's agency confirmed that the drama was one of the projects being offered to the actor. "He (Nam Joo Hyuk) was offered a role in Code: Faust Game and is reviewing it positively," he said.
Code: Faust Game is a Taiwanese drama about an app that can make anyone's wishes come true. The original series aired for two seasons, in 2016 and 2019, and received positive reviews.
Nam Joo Hyuk's role in the series is not yet known, along with the other cast members who will be joining the series. Nam Joo Hyuk last starred in the series Vigilante in 2023.
This year, his latest series, The East Palace, is also planned for release. On the other hand, earlier this year, Nam Joo Hyuk announced Fable Company as his new agency.
