The Korean Ministry of Defense's promotional video starring Cha Eun Woo has been removed by the ministry. The removal is reportedly related to the artist's tax evasion. Cha Eun Woo narrates the Korean Ministry of Defense's "These Days in the Military" content series.

The series chronicles the daily lives of military personnel, as well as historical figures and stories. After being removed, actor Rowoon was appointed as the series' new narrator. Rowoon is currently serving his mandatory military service.

Rowoon is reportedly preparing to film a scene for the video. Previously, the series was narrated by actor Song Kang and NCT's Taeyong. Cha Eun Woo joined the program in 2025 and appeared in four episodes. When the tax evasion case broke out, all videos of the series were deleted.

He himself was still serving his mandatory military service during the embezzlement case. Eun Woo's agency, Fantagio, stated that they were cooperating with the investigation. Previously, on January 22, 2026, Cha Eun Woo was investigated for tax evasion totaling 20 billion won.

He and his family allegedly established a covert company to avoid paying a larger total tax, violating South Korean tax regulations. On the other hand, Rowoon will be enlisting for military service on October 27, 2025.

He was scheduled to enlist on July 21, 2025, but he received a grade 7 and had to reapply until he was deemed fit for military service. Rowoon is also active in sharing his daily life with fans through RowoonCine, which is operated by FNC Entertainment as his agency.
