The fan community of famous South Korean actor, Byeon Woo Seok, " Byeon Woo Seok and TongTongE ," showed its concern through social action by holding a relay fundraising to commemorate Byeon Woo Seok's latest fan meeting in Seoul.
Quoting Allkpop, Tuesday (July 14, 2026), based on information from the Korean Social Welfare Institute, the fundraising took place on July 4-12, 2026 and succeeded in collecting donations of 4,028,074 Korean won.
The funds will be distributed to help teenagers preparing for independent living after leaving the orphanage. The assistance will be provided in the form of basic food packages containing instant rice and various ready-to-eat side dishes.
"I hope that Byeon Woo Seok and TongTongE's warm attention and support will give them the courage to move forward without hesitation," said one participating fan.
The President of the Korean Social Welfare Institute, Lee Bong Won, thanked fans of the actor who starred in the popular drama Perfect Crown, who is considered to have consistently spread benefits to vulnerable and needy communities.
"Byeon Woo Seok and TongTongE exemplify a healthy fandom culture by consistently sharing with those in need. I am deeply grateful, and I hope this donation will be a beacon of hope for young people preparing to become independent," said Lee Bong Won.
This action marks the ninth donation relay carried out by the Byeon Woo Seok fan community since starting its charity activities in 2024.
Over the past two years, Byeon Woo Seok fans have distributed various social assistance, ranging from providing wheelchairs for veterans, food aid for children, to medical equipment for people with disabilities.
