South Korean actress Han So-hee is rumored to be acting alongside Nam Joo-hyuk in the latest romantic Korean drama entitled Heartbeat (working title). My Daily reports that Han So-hee will join the Heartbeat project as the female lead.
Han So-hee's agency, 9ato Entertainment, confirmed that the actress has accepted the offer. "She has received an offer to star in Heartbeat ," 9ato Entertainment said, as quoted by Soompi, on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
However, the agency said that Han So-hee is still considering the offer for the drama Heartbeat. "Currently considering it positively," said 9ato Entertainment. If accepted, Heartbeat will be the first collaborative project for Han So-hee and Nam Joo-hyuk.
In addition to Heartbeat, Han So-hee is also reportedly in talks to star in Solo Leveling. She is being eyed to play Cha Hae-in, Korea's only female S-rank Hunter, in the web novel adaptation.
The actress is also gearing up for the release of the Korean remake of The Intern, a 2015 American film. Previously, Nam Joo-hyuk's representative confirmed the actor's involvement in the drama Heartbeat.
"Nam Joo-hyuk is confirmed to appear as the lead in the drama Heartbeat," Nam Joo-hyuk's representative told Ilgan Sports. Heartbeat is the latest romantic drama written by Lee Si-eun, the creator of True Beauty (2020) and Lovely Runner (2024).
The series presents a sweet fantasy romance about a woman with the ability to see the past and a man hiding his past identity. Their encounter, sparked by the appearance of a figure resembling the woman's first love, leads them on a journey filled with secrets and unexpected events.
