Motorola has officially launched the Moto G100 smartphone with flagship-level specifications. The handset has been made official in European and Latin America markets. The smartphone is actually a rebranded version of the Motorola Edge S that launched in China earlier this year.
Motorola Moto G100 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Motorola Moto G100 sports a quad-camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a ToF sensor. For selfies, there are two punch-hole cameras which are a 16-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens.
Motorola Moto G100 also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. On the software front, it runs Android 11 out-of-the-box. The smartphone also features 5 a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
The smartphone will also come with Motorola’s newly launched ‘Ready For’ connectivity suite. Similar to Samsung DeX, this feature lets you connect the phone to an external device like a TV or monitor so you can cast video calls, play video games and more.
Motorola Moto G100 has a starting price of 499.99 ( ₹42,700 approx) euros in select Latin America and European markets. The smartphone comes in three colour options of Iridescent Sky, Iridescent Ocean, and Slate Grey.
