BRANDNEW MUSIC officially announced that the exclusive contract with boy group AB6IX will end on May 25, 2026. This decision was made after the group's career spanned seven years since their debut in May 2019.
AB6IX will be going on hiatus or taking a temporary break from all group activities after they complete their concerts scheduled for May 23 and 24, 2026. "The exclusive contract with AB6IX, who have been with our agency since their debut on May 22, 2019, will expire on May 25, 2026," BRANDNEW MUSIC** wrote in its official statement.
Regarding the continuation of the group's activities, the agency stated, "After in-depth discussions with the members, AB6IX will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities after the AB6IX 2026 Concert '6IX TO SEVEN' held for two days on May 23 and 24."
Regarding the members' future, the agency added, "We are currently engaged in in-depth discussions with the members regarding contract renewals, and we will fully respect and support each member's decision as they stand at a new turning point in their careers."
