Samsung has launched the Galaxy S21 5G Olympic Games Edition in Japan. The brand has launched the smartphone as part of its summer lineup ahead of the 2021 Olympic Games in Japan.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Olympic Games Edition smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 888 processor, Tokyo Olympics on the rear panel and it comes in Phantom Blue colour with a gold finish on the sides.
Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Olympic Games Edition sports a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 8GB RAM. The discount is available on the 128GB storage variant of the smartphone. The handset runs on Android 11 topped with the company's own layer of One UI on top.
The high-end smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup with a 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 64MP telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture. The front houses a 10MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G Olympic Games Edition offers dual SIM support and comes with an IP68 rating which makes the device water-resistant. The handset houses a 4800mAh battery with 25W fast charging and 15W Qi wireless charging support.
The company has not yet revealed the pricing of the smartphone but the Japanese carrier NTT Docomo has started taking pre-orders for the smartphone and it is expected to roll out starting early June 2021.
