Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 were launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event as the company’s latest foldable smartphone. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with an IPX8-rated water-resistant build and have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. In the series, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 also comes with S Pen support.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with a 7.60-inch touchscreen primary display with a resolution of 2208x1768 pixels at a pixel density of 374 pixels per inch (ppi). The smartphone also features a 6.20-inch touchscreen as its second display, with a resolution of 832x2268 pixels.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. As for the OS software, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 runs on Android 11 OS software. The smartphone is powered by a 4400mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 supports proprietary fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 on the rear packs a 12-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 1.8-micron; a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.12-micron, and a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a pixel size of 1.0-micron. The rear camera setup has autofocus. On the front, the smartphone packs a 10-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.22-micron and a second 4-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a pixel size of 2.0-micron.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 runs One UI is based on Android 11 operating system and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. in terms of dimensions, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 measures 258.20 x 128.10 x 6.40mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 271.00 grams.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/Yes, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). Sensors on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Phantom Black, Phantom Green, and Phantom Silver colors.
