TCL 20Y smartphone has silently launched in African and South American markets. The handset comes with triple rear cameras and a MediaTek Helio A25 SoC. It packs a 4,000mAh battery and a waterdrop-style notch. The device is on sale on the TCL online store.
As far as the specifications are concerned, The TCL 20Y comes with a 6.52-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 165.64 x 75.59 x 8.74mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 194.00 grams.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. As for the OS software, the TCL 20Y runs on Android 11. the handset is powered by a 4000mAh battery.
The TCL 20Y on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls with an f/2.0 aperture.
TCL 20Y is based on Android 11 OS operating system. The smartphone packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB). The TCL 20Y is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
Connectivity options on the TCL 20Y include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the smartphone include fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Twilight Blue and Twilight Black colors.
