Tecno Spark 8 smartphone has been launched in India on 13th September 2021. The new affordable device from Tecno has slight changes over the earlier Tecno Spark 7. The handset comes with a 6.20-inch touchscreen display, octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 processor, Android 11 (Go edition), dual rear cameras and has a 5,000mAh battery.
The Tecno Spark 8 comes with a 6.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels at a pixel density of 269 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. In terms of deminsions, the smartphone measures 164.82 x 76.05 x 9.20mm (height x width x thickness)
Under the hood, the Tecno Spark 8 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM. As for the operating system, The smartphone runs on Android 11 OS (Go edition). As for the battery, the device is powered by a 5000mAh battery.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Tecno Spark 8 on the rear packs a 16-megapixel (f/1.8) + AI Lens camera with an f/1.8) + AI Lens (f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Tecno Spark 8 runs HiOS v7.6 is based on Android 11 (Go edition) and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB) with a dedicated slot. The Tecno Spark 8 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The smartphone comes in Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, and Turquoise Cyan colours.
Connectivity options on the Tecno Spark 8 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/Yes, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
