Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has launched the latest 5G smartphone, called the U3X 5G. The new handset brings Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 chipset, a dual rear cameras, and a massive 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone has a larger 6.58-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The company provides entry-level specs and features for the smartphone. 

iQoo U3X 5G features a 6.58-inch LCD display 90Hz refresh rate. The display carries a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. iQoo U3X offers a 20.07:9 and 90.61 screen to body ratio. As for design, the front penal has a waterdrop design and the back penal comes with a cool gradient look. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 164.15 x 75.34 x 8.40mm and weighs around 185.5 grams.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the rear penal comes with a dual-camera setup that includes a 13MP primary camera with an F2.2 lens and a 2MP secondary camera with an F2.4 lens. On the front penal, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. As for OS out of the box, the dual-SIM slot smartphone runs on OriginOS based on Android 11 out of the box.

Under the hood, the iQoo U3X 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC along with Adreno 619 and up to 8GB of RAM. iQoo U3X has 64GB and 128GB internal storage options. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W dual-engine fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. The device also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor to unlock.

The iQoo U3X 5G has been priced at CNY 1,119 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant, CNY 1,119 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and CNY 1,499 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant. It will go on sale from April 1st and available in two color options, i.e. Blue and Grey. There is no information when the device will be available in other markets.
