Honor Magic V smartphone has been launched in China. the new handset features a waterdrop hinge, a 7.9-inch foldable flexible OLED inner display, a 6.45-inch curved OLED nano microcrystalline outer display, and runs on Honor Magic UI 6.0 OS. The device packs three 50-megapixel cameras, and a 4750mAh non-removable battery with supports proprietary fast charging.
The Honor Magic V comes with a 7.90-inch primary display with a resolution of 2272x1984 pixels. It also features a 6.45-inch as its second display, with a resolution of 1080x2560 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The Honor Magic V is powered by a 4750mAh non-removable battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.
The Honor Magic V on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture; a 50-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and a 50-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 42-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
As for OS software, the Honor Magic V runs Honor Magic UI 6.0 is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM mobile. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 160.40 x 141.10 x 6.70mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 293.00 grams. It was launched in Black, Burnt Orange, and Space Silver colours.
Connectivity options on the Honor Magic V include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, Infrared, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The device supports face unlock.
