Realme unveiled a special Dragon Ball Z Edition of the Realme GT 2 that is expected to arrive soon. The images unveiled by the company showed the design of the Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Limited Edition smartphone. The smartphone features a glass back with an orange and blue paint job in a matte finish.

The frame of the device is also blue-coloured. The colour scheme on the Dragon Ball Edition reminds us of the protagonist, Goku’s outfit from the popular anime series. Another special detail is animation for charging with the 65 W SuperDart accessory. While the 5,000 mAh battery is being recharged, the smartphone shows the protagonist transforming into a Super Saiyan.

The lock screen also has the character, themed and custom icons in the style of the drawing, and even the seven dragon balls. Despite having “GT” in the name, the entire custom look of Realme’s smartphone is based on Goku’s character from Dragon Ball Z and not the later Dragon Ball GT. The Realme GT Neo2 was launched back in September 2021 in India.

Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Limited Edition flaunts a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution. It has up to 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300 nits brightness, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Limited Edition has a triple camera system with a 64 megapixel main lens, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and lastly a 2 megapixel macro sensor. Upfront, it has a 16 megapixel selfie camera. The display has a punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner and houses an under-glass fingerprint scanner

The Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Limited Edition is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. The smartphone offers a Type-C charging port, NFC, and a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. Realme has already started rolling out the Android 12 OS out of the box update for the handset with its Realme UI 3.0 Early access program.
