Infinix Mobile has launched its Zero 5G model in India. The handset carries a price-tag of Rs. 19,999 and will be available from February 18 onward. It was announced in Nigeria last week. As for the key details, the smartphone features a 120Hz display, a 48MP primary camera, a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, 33W fast-charging, and supports 13 5G bands.

The Infinix Zero 5G is the first 5G-ready handset by the company. It comes with a bevy of features such as '3D cooling' technology, 'Game Boost' function, up to 5GB virtual RAM, and a high screen refresh rate. With the Zero 5G, the company aims to make its mark in the mid-range smartphone segment which is dominated by Samsung, Vivo, and Xiaomi.

The Infinix Zero 5G comes with a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2460 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Dimension-wise, the smartphone weighs 199 grams. The smartphone features a punch-hole design with rounded corners, a prominent bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The rear is fitted with a triple camera setup.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Infinix Zero 5G has a triple rear camera unit comprising a 48MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the Infinix Zero 5G draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable up to 256GB via micro-SD card). On the front software, it boots Android 11-based XOS 10 out of the box. For connectivity, the device offers support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a Type-C port.

For pricing and availability in India, the Infinix Zero 5G carries a price-tag of Rs. 19,999 for the solo 8GB/128GB model. The smartphone is offered in Cosmic Black and Skylight Orange color options, and will go on sale from February 18 via e-commerce platform website and apps Flipkart.
