Oppo A76 smartphone was silently launched in Malaysia. Talking about the key highlights, the handset sports a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with up to a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. It also features virtual RAM expansion of up to 5GB. Oppo A76 is the successor to Oppo A74 that launched in April last year. 

The Oppo A76 comes with a 6.56-inch display with a resolution of 720x1612 pixels at a pixel density of 269 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. At the heart, the handset runs on Android 11 OS and is powered by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oppo A76 on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

On the front software, the Oppo A76 runs ColorOS 11.1 is based on Android 11 OS out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 164.40 x 75.70 x 8.39mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 189.00 grams.

Connectivity options on the Oppo A76 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.00, USB OTG, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The handset supports face unlock. The device was launched in Glowing Black and Glowing Blue colours.
