Chinese tech giant, OPPO is reportedly working on a new Reno series smartphone, called the Reno7 Z. In the latest development, tipster @TheLeaks3 on Twitter has leaked the renders of the device, revealing its design details. As per the images, the Reno7 Z will have a triple rear camera unit, a punch-hole design, and a flat frame similar to the iPhone 12 or 13 models.
OPPO is working to expand its Reno7 series of handsets with the new Reno7 Z. The device is expected to debut in India in the coming weeks and will join the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro models that were announced here earlier this month. The Reno7 Z will be priced around Rs. 20,000 and will take on rivals from brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, and Vivo.
The OPPO Reno7 Z may bear a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ LCD or AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone will feature a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out with rounded corners and slim bezels. The rear will be fitted with a triple camera module.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the OPPO Reno7 Z will likely sport a triple rear camera module comprising a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP tertiary lens. Up front, the handset may have a 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
Under the hood, the OPPO Reno7 Z is expected to draw power from a Snapdragon 480+ chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the front software, it should boot Android 12 with ColorOS skin on top. For connectivity options, the smartphone should offer support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a Type-C port.
The official pricing and availability details of the OPPO Reno7 Z will be announced at the time of its launch. Based on the leaked renders, the smartphone will be offered in at least two color options. However, based on the rumored specifications, the handset may cost around Rs. 18,000 in India.
