Xiaomi's recently-launched Redmi 11S model is now available for purchase in India today. Interested customers can buy the smartphone via Mi.com and Amazon. The device starts at Rs. 16,499 for the 6GB/64GB variant and is offered in Horizon Blue, Space Black, and Polar White color options. It features a 108MP primary camera, a 90Hz AMOLED screen, a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 11S was launched in India on February 9 alongside the Redmi Note 11 model, which had gone on sale on February 11. Now, the smartphone has also become available for customers. The smartphone raises competition in the sub-Rs. 20,000 segment by attracting customers with its modern design, a smooth display, a mid-tier chipset, a good main camera, and fast-charging support.
The Redmi Note 11S bears a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features a center-aligned punch-hole design with slim bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication. At the back, the phone has a quad rear camera module.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11S is fueled by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the front software, the handset boots Android 11-based MIUI 13 OS out of the box. For connectivity options, the smartphone offers support for 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a Type-C port.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi Note 11S sports a quad rear camera setup comprising a 108MP primary snapper, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, the smartphone has a 16MP selfie camera. The handset is packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
In India, the Redmi Note 11S costs Rs. 16,499 for the 6GB/64GB model, Rs. 17,499 for the 6GB/128GB variant, and Rs. 18,499 for the 8GB/128GB configuration. The color options available are Horizon Blue, Polar White, and Space Black. The smartphone is up for grabs via Mi.com, Amazon, and other authorized retailers. Xiaomi and Amazon are also providing Rs. 1,000 discount on purchases via Bank of Baroda cards and EMI transactions.
