Tecno Spark 8C has been launched in India as an entry-level smartphone from the Chinese tech company. A 90Hz refresh rate display, octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset, dual rear cameras, and 8-megapixel selfie sensor are the major highlights of the handset. It offers up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery as well.
The Tecno Spark 8C is rumoured to come with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1612 pixels at a pixel density of 262 pixels per inch (ppi). Umder the hood, the smartphone is expected to be powered by an octa-core processor and come with 3GB of RAM. The handset is rumoured to run Android 11 OS. It features an IPX2 rating for dust and water protection.
In terms of optics, the Tecno Spark 8C is rumoured to pack a dual rear camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, and an AI lens camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It is rumoured to sport a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, an 8-megapixel primary camera. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 5000mAh battery.
On the software front, the Tecno Spark 8C runs HiOS is based on Android 11 OS out of the box and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via SD card card (up to 256GB). The smartphone is tipped to be a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that will accept Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset is said to measure 164.57 x 76.00 x 8.95mm (height x width x thickness).
Connectivity options on the Tecno Spark 8C are said to include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, USB OTG, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). Sensors on the smartphone are rumoured to include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. It is said to launch in Diamond Grey, Iris Purple, Magnet Black, and Turquoise Cyan colours.
