Vivo has presented a fresh new smartphone series in the Indian market. The Chinese tech company today introduced Vivo T1 5G under its latest T-Series. The handset was released in China last year 2021, although its features differ from those of the Indian version. The key highlights of the device include a 120Hz display and a triple rear camera set up consisting of a 50MP primary sensor. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC.

Vivo T1 5G has a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with 1,080×2,408 pixels of resolution. The screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 695 5G SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. The internal storage is up to 128GB that can be increased with a microSD card to up to 1TB. On the front software, The device operates on FunTouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12 OS out the box. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, Vivo T1 5G features a triple rear camera configuration consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and two 2-megapixel secondary sensors with an aperture of f/2.4. It has a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls. As per the company, Super Night Mode and Multi Style Portrait mode will be offered on the 6GB and 8GB RAM models.

The Vivo T1 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging capabilities. Onboard sensors include a fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, virtual gyroscope sensor, GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, and QZSS, as well as 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C, and USB OTG connectivity options. The handset has been introduced in two colour options Rainbow Fantasy and Starlight Black.

For pricing and availability, the Vivo T1 5G has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 15,990 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version. The smartphone is also available in a 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant priced at Rs 16,990 while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model costs Rs 19,990. The device is scheduled to go on sale in India from February 14 via Flipkart, Vivo e-store and physical retail outlets in the country.
