Vivo has launched its latest V-series smartphone, called the V23e 5G, in India. It carries a price-tag of Rs. 25,990 for the sole 8GB/128GB variant. The handset is available in Sunshine Gold and Midnight Blue color variants. It features an AMOLED display, 44MP selfie camera, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, and a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support.
The Vivo 23e 5G is the latest addition to the V23 series, which currently includes the V23 and V23 Pro models. It was launched in Thailand in November. Vivo is aggressively expanding its portfolio of handsets in India to take on Samsung and Xiaomi. So far, the company has launched at least eight new smartphones as part of its Y-series, T-series, and V-series. The handset has a 60Hz screen refresh rate
The Vivo V23e 5G features a 6.44-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone bears a waterdrop notch design, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication. At the back, the handset sports a triple camera setup.
Under the hood, the Vivo V23e 5G draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone houses a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. For connectivity options, the handset offers support for Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5G, and a Type-C port.
In terms of optics, the Vivo V23e 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) main shooter, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens. On the front, the handset sports a 44MP (f/2.0) snapper for selfies and video calls. On the software front, it boots Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 baked on top.
