Vivo's sub-owned brand, iQOO is gearing up to launch the Z6 5G device in India. In the latest development, tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed that the smartphone will be introduced in India on March 16. Previously, the company had released a promotional video showcasing certain specifications and color variants of the smartphone. It will feature a 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 695 chip and a triple camera unit.
After the flagship 9 series, iQOO is getting ready to launch the Z6 5G, an affordable 5G device in India. We can assume that its debut is not far away as teasers have started to trickle in. The smartphone in the teasers reminds us of the Vivo T1 5G. It needs to be seen whether the handset is similar or different from T1 5G.
The iQOO Z6 5G may bear a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is likely to feature a waterdrop notch design with slim bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a rectangular camera unit.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the iQOO Z6 5G will be equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, including a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth lens. Up front, it could sport a 16MP selfie snapper. At the heart, it may boot Android 11 OS out of the box.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z6 5G will be fueled by a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM, 4GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone may pack a 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support. The smartphone will also have a 5-layer liquid cooling system and 5G connectivity.
The official pricing and availability details of the iQOO Z6 5G smartphone will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch in the coming days. The handset will be available in Black and Gradient color options. However, we expect it to start at around Rs. 15,000.
