Motorola Moto G22 was silently launched in Europe on March 03 (Thursday). The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. It sports a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate. The handset features a quad rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It will launch in India and other regions in the coming weeks.
The Motorola Moto G22 comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels at a pixel density of 268 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The handset runs Android 12 and is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Motorola Moto G22 on the rear packs a quad camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture. The front camera also features autofocus.
On the front software, the Motorola Moto G22 runs MyUX is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1000GB). In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 185.00 grams.
Connectivity options on the Motorola Moto G22 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The handset supports face unlock. It was launched in Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and Pearl White colours.
