Oppo A96 smartphone was launched in India on Monday (March 21). As for the key highlights, the device has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, 6.59-inch touchscreen display, and carry 90Hz displays. The handset also runs on Android 11 OS, a dual camera setup and a 5000mAh non-removable battery. As of 21st March 2022, Oppo A96 price in India starts at Rs. 19,999.
The Oppo A96 comes with a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.59-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2412 pixels (FHD+) at a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. At the heart, it runs on Android 11 OS and is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. The handset supports Super VOOC fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Oppo A96 on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
On the front software, the Oppo A96 runs ColorOS 11.1 is based on Android 11 OS out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card. The handset is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
