Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 11 Pro series, comprising the 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ 5G, in India. The line-up starts at Rs. 17,999. The Note 11 Pro+ 5G and Note 11 Pro will go on sale on March 15 and March 23, respectively, via Mi's official website, Amazon, Mi Home, and retail outlets. HDFC Bank card users get a Rs. 1,000 discount.
Redmi Note 11 Pro series has finally arrived in India nearly two months after its global launch. The series features the company's first-ever smartphone with the "Pro+" moniker in India. The Note 11 Pro+ is a rebranded version of the global Note 11 Pro 5G. With several segment-leading features and competitive prices, the handsets are expected to make a strong statement in India.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro series bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 1,200-nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphones feature a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ 5G are fueled by a MediaTek Helio G96 and a Snapdragon 695 SoC, respectively, mated with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Both smartphones house a 5,000mAh battery with a 67W fast-charging support. They also pack dual stereo speakers.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G flaunts a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP macro lens. The Note 11 Pro gets a similar arrangement but with an additional 2MP depth shooter. Up front, the handsets have a 16MP selfie snapper. On the front software, they boot Android 11-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
For pricing and availability, Redmi Note 11 Pro series starts at Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB/128GB model of the Note 11 Pro and goes up to Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant of the Note 11 Pro+. They are offered in Stealth Black, Phantom White, Mirage Blue, and Star Blue color options. They will go on sale on March 23 and March 15, respectively.
