Samsung Galaxy A53 5G was launched in India on Thursday (March 17). As for the key highlights, The new Samsung smartphone comes with a quad camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel and have 25W fast charging support. The handset also comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate Super AMOLED display, a 6.50-inch touchscreen display, octa-core processor, and a 5000mAh battery with supports proprietary fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.50-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels at a pixel density of 407 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display sports Gorilla Glass for protection. The handset is powered by an octa-core processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 12 OS and is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G on the rear packs a quad camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) camera; a 5-megapixel (f/2.4) camera, and a 5-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.

On the front software, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G runs One UI 4.1 is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1000GB). The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 159.60 x 74.80 x 8.10mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 189.00 grams. It features an IP67 rating for dust and water protection.

For connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) , and 5G. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Peach, and Awesome White colours.
