Samsung Galaxy A53 5G was announced along with Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A73 5G. As for the key highlights, the smartphone comes with an Exynos chipset, fast refresh rate AMOLED display, Android 12 OS, quad rear camera, similar design, polycarbonate build, big battery, fast charging, and more.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G bears a 6.5 inches Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with Exynos 1280 octa-core SoC that comes coupled with ARM Mali-G68 GPU. The phone sports an IP67 dust and water-resistance rating. It is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.

In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G features a quad rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture along with Optical Image Stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 5-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The phone sports a 32-megapixel selfie sensor under the punch-hole at the top center.

On the front software, The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes running on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 skin on top. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 25W fast charging but there is no charger inside the box.  For connectivity options, the smartphone includes a 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and a USB Type-C port. 

For pricing and availability, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will be available for purchase in Europe and US from 1 April but it is available for pre-orders. The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced $450 in US, 400 euro UK, 450 euro in Germany and 8GB + 256GB for 510 euro in the German market. The smartphone comes in four color options namely Black, White, Blue, and Peach.
