South Korean tech giant, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A73 5G smartphone alongside the Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A53 5G. The smartphone is the premium A-series handset and boasts of a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset has an IP67 rating, quad-camera setup, 5000mAh battery, and microSD card slot support.  The device is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 778G processor which is accompanied by 8GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that has Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G processor. The handset ships with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the top-end variant packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device measures 163.7 x 76.1 x 7.6mm when it comes to dimensions and weighs 181 grams. 

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G boasts of a 108MP quad-camera setup. Accompanying the 108MP sensor is a 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth camera and a 5MP macro sensor. On the front side, the handset features a 32MP selfie camera. As for the software, the A73 5G runs Android 12 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI 4.1 skin on top. 

Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery that has 25W fast charging support.  Other key features on the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G include a microSD card slot, IP67 water resistance, stereo speakers, dual-SIM card slot, 5G, and a fingerprint sensor. The handset is promised to receive software updates for four years and security updates for five years. 

For pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G will be available in select markets starting from April 22. The smartphone comes in Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Peach, and Awesome Blue colours. As of now, Samsung is yet to announce the pricing of the A73 5G. Additionally, there is no word from the brand regarding the launch of the A73 5G for the Indian market.
