Redmi 10 With 6,000mAh Battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Launched In India

Xiaomi‘s Redmi has launched a new mid-range smartphone— called the Redmi 10 in Indian market. The new device is a rebranded Redmi 10C which was recently launched in Nigeria. As for the key highlights, the handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and a 5,000mAh battery unit. It offers a large HD+ display and a triple-rear camera setup.

The Redmi 10 flaunts a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 1650 × 720 pixel resolution, 400nits peak brightness, and 60Hz refresh rate. The display panel has a waterdrop notch and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer. The smartphone comes preloaded with the company’s proprietary MIUI 13, based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

Under the hood, the latest Redmi smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that is fabbed on a 6nm process. It brings with it an integrated Adreno 610 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 169.59 × 76.56 × 9.13 mm and weighs 203 grams. 

In terms of optics, the Redmi 10 offers a dual-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the smartphone includes a 50MP sensor with an F1.8 aperture. Accompanying it is a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it relies on a 5MP shooter that has an F2.0 aperture. The smartphone is equipped with a 6000mAh battery unit. It supports 18W fast charging over a Type-C port. 

Additionally, the Chinese tech company is bundling a 10W charging adapter in the box. The smartphone offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of connectivity options, you get dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, and BeiDou. 

For pricing and availability, the Redmi 10 comes in two configurations—4GB + 64GB (₹10,999) and 6GB + 128GB (1₹2,999). The smartphone retails in three colour options—Midnight Black, Pacific Blue, and Caribbean Green. As a launch offer, Redmi will offer up to ₹1,000 instant discount with HDFC Credit Cards.
