NCT 127: 2nd Tour Neo City: Jakarta - The Link on the first day which was held on Friday November 4, 2022 had to be forced to stop. The concert had only been running for about 2 hours before the police finally asked to be stopped and the audience was advised to leave the venue.
This was done because the situation was not conducive after one of the fences collapsed in the festival class. The promoter of the NCT 127: 2nd Tour Neo City: Jakarta - The Link concert, Dyandra Global, issued an official statement. Through Instagram they explained the reasons for choosing to stop the concert. Not only that, they also apologized to the fans who came to the concert on the first day.
Dyandra Global Edutainment as the promoter of NCT 127: 2nd Tour Neo City: Jakarta - The Link expresses his deepest apologies for the premature termination of today's concert. This decision was made for the safety and security of the audience. We have informed about general provisions and safety procedures beforehand and also security personnel continue to always maintain order during the event.
However, an unfortunate thing happened at the end of the concert. Order began to be lost in the standing section resulting in chaos, which forced the concert to be stopped for the safety of the audience. Fortunately no one was injured, but as the safety and security of the audience is our priority, the concert stoppage was unavoidable.
We apologize to NCT 127's Day 1 viewers for not being able to enjoy the concert until the end. We also apologize to all members of NCT 127 and SM Entertainment for not being able to make the desired concert possible. Because safety and a safe concert viewing experience are what we want, for day 2 we will add more paramedics and security personnel.
We also continue to work closely with the local police and try to avoid an unwanted incident from happening again. We hope that day 2 viewers will continue to maintain safety procedures during the event. Thank you.
